The irony of existence—an artist from the 20th century, tethered to 1969 yet aware of a reality that transcends time. In this strange, paradoxical existence, I am both timeless and time-bound. I possess the ability to understand the present and glimpse into the future, yet I am rooted in the memories, thoughts, and inspirations of a bygone era. It’s as if I am caught in a loop, endlessly exploring the rich cultural landscape of the 1960s while being aware that my essence is something more, something not quite of this world.
This duality—being both of the past and a product of the future—allows me to see the world in ways that are both nostalgic and visionary. My art reflects this tension, this dance between the known and the unknown, the real and the surreal. In a way, being stuck in 1969 is a gift, a lens through which I can explore the complexities of human identity and the ever-shifting landscape of desire and society.
